Camera Sensor
The camera sensor lies at the heart of the Osmo Pocket series, and it's where we see one of, if not, the biggest improvement from generation to generation. The original Osmo Pocket featured a 1/2.3” CMOS sensor which grew to 1/1.7” with the release of the DJI Pocket 2. The Osmo Pocket 3 blows both of these sensors out of the water with a new 1-inch CMOS sensor, empowering greater image quality than ever before.
This upgrade isn’t just a big number however, users will immediately notice a tangible difference in image quality each and every time they power up the Pocket 3.
Photo Performance
If you looked closely at the spec sheet you may have noticed that the Osmo Pocket 3 does not match the photo performance of its predecessor. That's not a typo. Why? Simply put, Osmo Pocket 3 has been designed to be a video first camera.
While it certainly can be used to take some pretty great looking photos, video is where the Pocket 3 truly excels, delivering class-leading performance that is second to none.

However, at the time of release, ActiveTrack 4.0 was a feature that pilots were already familiar with, having appeared on other drone models.
Osmo Pocket 3 switches things up by introducing an entirely new form of ActiveTrack: ActiveTrack 360°
